This is my year for finally doing those things I always promised myself I would do but just never got around to doing. Thanks to our friend Jon, I am on track to complete a triathlon (no guarantees on not totally stinking) in June.
And thanks to Mr. Wonderful Alan, today I start working on my writing in earnest. (He gave me a really gorgeous writing desk which is being delivered today.) My two perpetually ongoing but sporadically worked-on projects Eulogy for a Soldier and The Dog Prophet will get focused attention. I am embarking on a 30 day outlining process for The Dog Prophet (which would be the first in a mystery series built around a public defender) and a similar story boarding program for Eulogy's (thriller) screenplay. I will post updates when there is something interesting to share!
I am perfectly happy focusing on the work. No big deal if nothing ever comes of it. But if I become the next Dan Brown, you can say you knew me when.
