We now have two confirmed fox residents living near the dyke. The kit fox appears to have taken up residence under the tree where the beast used to live and a red fox appears to be living in a freshly dug hole down by the culvert on the left side of the dyke. Connor is fascinated with both holes and keeps taking me to visit them when we go out, though he does keep a respectful distance.
Andra and I saw an amazing red fox one day when we were riding in Great Falls and we have both seen the red fox near here on separate occasions. I am glad we now have one so nearby for closer observation. Stay tuned for fox updates!
