Friends, Here is a one of the first pictures I have of my Bride, Andra. It is from March 9, 1991; about 18 ago. Is it any wonder I was smitten.
The very boring photo of the stair case is the place I saw the love of my life for the first time. I was standing at the top of those stairs when I saw Andra for the first time on December 17th, 1990 at 7:45 a.m.
I knew I'd never want to forget where we met so I took a photo of it.
She was sitting on a picnic table that was in the sandy area (bottom right) on the right of the sidewalk waiting for weapons training to begin.
The building is the classroom where we were issued weapons for weapons training (9mm sidearms).
Immediately behind me from where I snapped the photo is the weapons range where we did our firing. We were in the firing lanes next to each other. She shot better than I did. I think it was because I was distracted by her hotness.
Although the area looks green and lush, it was actually mostly desert. It was green because it was winter and the area near the range was watered. The range itself was sand and dirt. Even when she was crawling on her belly in the dirt sh

ooting things, she was the hottest looking (and only) woman on the weapons range.
At midday break, we went to lunch together at a Chinese buffet. Then we returned to continue our weapons training.
Our first smooch was the following Thursday night, Dec 20th, in the parking lot of Whiskey Creek Bar and Comedy Club. She was ALL over me. (Not really, but I like to rem
ember it that way.) Some might not consider that a very romantic way to meet one's future mate, but it's hot to me. Women, weapons, and buffets: Three things that go great together.
I am a lucky guy. True luuuv.
